Oh my word.

Today I realized I've been blogging for about 3 years and in my first post I never really introduced myself. Better late than never right ?

Let's see. My name is Afton Brooke Newberry. I was named after my Great-Grandmother Audrey Afton King. I was born on August 2nd 1988 ( which puts me at 22 ) in Lubbock, Texas. I was born to my parents James and Sabra Newberry as their first child out of 3 daughters. My middle sister Brett was born 3 years after me and my baby sister Colby 3 years after her.

I was raised between Texas and Georgia , but mostly in Georgia. I got "lucky" and became the ONLY person in my family to skip out on the Southern Accent. Although I've learned it comes out when I get really excited or really upset. I moved to Utah permanently about 14 months ago. I love it out here despite the cold weather.

In March of 2010 I met my current boyfriend. We started dating April 1st. Everyone asks if it's a joke. No. It's not. We started dating 12am of April 1st. We've been together for the last 10 almost 11 months. They have been the greatest months of my life. He's my best friend in the whole world and I feel super lucky to be dating him.

I'm planning on going to Utah Valley University in the summer and studying Visual Arts and Communication with an emphasis in photography. So if you want to make it easier to say, like me , you could just say i'm going into photography. Which is my passion. Took 22 years to figure this out , but i'm glad I did. Boyfriend hates it though.

Other things I love to do include, but aren't limited to : Reading , Singing , Dancing to music blasting in my room , coloring on the sidewalks with chalk, playing legos, coloring in general, and walking on sunny days with my boyfriend. Also beaches. I love going to beaches.

My greatest desire is to live in California. I need to be out in San Fransisco. I'm a Cali girl at heart. Now that you know me aren't you glad you blog stalk me ? Haha. I thought so :)
